Not having the unhealthy food around would reduce the temptation. After dinner we came together to take a stroll as a family. Whether it was around the block or at the park did not matter. The important part was that we would all do it. We found a lot of support by doing it together.
Our family has been making healthy choices for around six months. Our health has improved somewhat. But what has really improved is the bonds that we have with each other. It is a benefit that was completely unexpected. I could not be happier that it did.
